For batery saving purposes, some specific device and/or Android settings may block Push notifications from our App and thus, call and messaging features may not work properly when App is in background.
If you experience push notification issue, please check settings for following devices:

Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Lite, Huawei Mate 10
- Go to: < Battery > App launch>> and then set Voico app to “Manage manually” and make sure everything is turned on.
Huawei P9 Plus
- Go to: < Apps > Settings > Special access > Ignore battery optimisation>> and select allow for Voico app.
Huawei Honor 9 Lite, Huawei Mate 9 Pro
- Go to: < Battery > Launch >> and set Voico app to “Manage manually” and make sure everything is turned on.
Other
EMUI 6+ devices (and some EMUI 5 devices)
- Go to: < Advanced Settings > Battery manager>> and select: Power plan is set to Performance
- Go to: < Advanced Settings > Battery Manager > Protected apps>> and make sure that Voico is Protected
- Go to: < Apps > Advanced (At the bottom) > Ignore optimisations > Allowed > All apps>> Find Voico app on the list and set to Allow
Galaxy S9/S10
- Go to: < Device care > Batery > Settings (dot menu in the right upper corner)>>
- Disable Put unused Apps to sleep
- Disable Autodisable unused
- Tap on Sleeping Apps button and check if Voico is listed there. If so, remove the App from the list, using trash icon.
Galaxy S8 (j6ltedx) and later
Go to: < Device maintenance > Battery>>
Make sure that Voico is not listed under Sleeping Apps, then go to Unmonitored Apps, press 3-dot menu and add Voico to the list of unmonitored Apps.
Other
Go to: < Applications >> select three dot menu (top right corner) > Special Access > Optimize Battery usage, Find Voico on the list and make sure that it is not selected.

App pinning
When you open recent apps tray, drag your app downwards – it will be locked. So even if you clear recent apps it will not clear from the background. Drag downwards again to clear your app from the background.
Go to Phone Assistant / Manager > Battery > turn off Eco Mode.
Go back and go to Manual mode
Tap on the Gear icon on top right > Background apps whitelist > Now select Voico

give the service a persistent notification to remain in the foreground
Phone settings > Battery > Three dots in the top right corner > Battery optimisation > Apps > Voico
Open up Phone Settings.
Tap Power.
Tap Battery optimization.
Tap Not optimized > All apps to see the complete list of apps.
To turn off battery optimization in an app, tap the app name, and then tap Don’t optimize > Done. Repeat this process to turn off optimization in other apps. To filter the list and see which apps have battery optimization disabled, tap All apps > Not optimized.
Go to Phone settings > Apps > See all apps.
Tap on the right top corner menu > Show system.
Find Power saver app in the list, select it and Force close. It will remain stopped for a while, but will restart itself eventually.
